Dr. Cheatham is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist. Dr. Cheatham attended Old Dominion University for her undergraduate degree, and in 2020 she obtained her doctorate in psychology (PsyD) with a specialization in neuropsychology from Florida Institute of Technology. She completed a 1-year internship and 2-year postdoctoral residency in neuropsychology at the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Cheatham enjoys differential diagnosis of memory disorders in older adults. Given her experience at the VA and with several important Veterans in her life, she also enjoys working with Veterans and Active Duty service members.
Dr. Cheatham also likes working with children to assess for neurodevelopmental conditions and learning disorders, with the goal of helping kiddos achieve their potential in academics and beyond.
Dr. Cheatham spends her free time with her family and loves watching her toddler learn and grow. She enjoys the beach, nature photography, crafting, and birding.
